White Nights in Shen Chuan City

The clouds know. I am Ali Dai Wangshu. I don't know if I'll ever see you again, so I offer this novel as a testament to how much I miss you. I'll do my best to finish writing it. I can only write mysteries and detective stories; I haven't experienced enough love to capture the feeling that after seeing the ocean, no other water can compare. But I know that in that month, I turned every prayer wheel, not to earn salvation, but just to touch your fingertips. That year, I prostrated myself along the mountain road, not to pay homage, but just to feel your warmth. The clouds know that one day I'll find you!

All of this was inspired by how much I miss Yun Zhidao. I've woven the truth about Yun Zhidao together with imagined dreams, and I hope you see it!
