The Demon Queen's Comeuppance

She was the Silver Fox Demon Empress. He was a wolf demon meant to be offered as a sacrifice so she could cultivate her magic arts. Who could have guessed that he would steal her cultivation technique and seize the chance to assassinate her? Tens of thousands of years later, he is the Demon King, while she is a fox demon who has only just taken human form. When they unexpectedly reunite, both have ulterior motives and torment each other. Only after every scheme is exposed do they realize they were both pawns all along. Their first meeting: “Little wolf cub, give me one more kiss.” “How can there be a shameless demoness like you in this world?” Their reunion: “You already killed me once. Why won't you leave me alone now?” “I want to make you wish you were dead!” On their wedding day, the Celestial Realm takes him away, and she storms the heavens in her red bridal gown. “Today, you dared to take my husband. Then I dare to slaughter the entire Celestial Realm as an apology!”
