I Think I Want to Run Toward You

After being vilified across the internet, Fu She has become carefree and does as she pleases. Sharp-tongued and haughty, she loves beautiful voices and faces, and ends up falling for a “computer repair guy.” From then on, she chases after him relentlessly. Eventually she wins him over, only to lose him again. After shooting to fame as a rising star, she is asked in an interview, “What kind of person do you like?” “Quiet, focused, superstitious researchers.” “I remember you said in an interview a couple of years ago that you wouldn't date a younger man. Have you changed your mind?” “I changed it ages ago.” She smiles. “I contradicted myself as soon as that interview was over.” “Then...” “He became my ex-boyfriend.” Later, that “quiet, superstitious researcher” pins Fu She against the wall and fires back at her with the same sharp tongue she always uses. Fu She smiles teasingly, hooks an arm around his neck, and kisses him to shut him up. [Note: The leads are one year apart in age.] Fu She: “I don't know what words could express how much I like you. It's like looking up and suddenly seeing a vivid blue sky and white clouds, and feeling a shock that wells up from the bottom of my heart. Maybe I'd never seen such a beautiful view before, but now I have.” Shen Du: “When people first learn a programming language, the result they run is usually ‘hello world.’ But right now, out of all the code I could run, the first thing I want to run is your name.”
