Thirty and Lost

At thirty, I am already a mother and a drifter in the world of finance. I once longed for an extraordinary life of travel livestreaming, and for the life of a single woman drinking and writing in an attic. I am the daughter of aging parents, and the mother of a fussy child. Life may look like a pool of stagnant water, but the story of my life is much like that of Wu Xiaoxi, the protagonist of a book. Every day brings a new choice; the one thing that never changes is a sincere heart.
