All Worlds Deceive the Sky

Newton was admitted to Trinity College, Cambridge University in 1661. In the first half of 1664, he began to engage in new mechanical research. In 1665, Newton received his bachelor's degree. In the same year, Newton returned to his hometown to escape the plague. These two years were the peak period of his creativity and invention. He successively created the binomial theorem, the decomposition of light, the flux method, and established the basic ideas of the first and second laws and the law of gravity. In 1668, the 26-year-old Newton returned to Cambridge University and was selected to succeed Barrow's chair as professor of mathematics. In the same year, he collaborated with Barrow to complete Lectures on Optics and Geometry. In 1675, he did the famous "Newton's Ring" experiment. In 1684, with the enthusiastic persuasion and full support of his close friend Halley, Newton published his masterpiece "Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy", which announced the formation of Newtonian mechanics, and its influence spread across all fields of natural science. He was knighted in 1705 and remained unmarried.
