Shadows of the Past

It was really frustrating to watch. The protagonist is a top student who graduated from a military academy and is not a social recruit. How come he is not affiliated with any faction? The military command written about it is also a waste. From top to bottom, they are either jealous of the talented or capable, or they are doing nothing. There is also a military commander who oversees the military and police constitution. In the end, it can't even arrest the police chief, let alone the complete evidence. If you consider that, you can just be responsible for arresting people. How the higher-ups arrange it is none of your business. Anyway, in the end, neither side is getting along well, and they are always comforting themselves inexplicably.

It's a bit uncomfortable. The protagonist was like shit in the military, was misunderstood by our party, and then was moved to death by just writing a letter. You were not reborn after the founding of the People's Republic of China. You were reborn after dying in the Anti-Japanese War and the Civil War. You basically had no chance to understand our party. It's a bit strange. Secondly, that Jun's fiancée made all kinds of unreasonable statements and was full of emotions. Can someone who lets out his emotions in such a messy situation be a spy? Would our party choose such an idiot to infiltrate the enemy?

The military commander doesn't even dare to deal with the police chief? Dai has direct access to Chiang. For example, the Tang family has clearly offended the military commanders. No matter how big the background is, Dai and Jiang Yi said, Chiang will definitely order a thorough investigation, and no one can be protected. If Dai doesn't even care about the family of a military commander being threatened, who will bother to do things for the military commanders?

Although this book has a certain aura of the protagonist, the overall writing is quite good, but it is a bit depressing. It is not like other spy wars that are about catching and killing. All the spies in this book have a network of connections. If any low-level spy is caught, he will be suppressed by his backstage. One word for the protagonist is not enough to describe it.

I have read a lot of espionage-themed novels, and this one is more to my liking. I have subscribed to it and given it a thumbs up. Overall, there is nothing wrong with the writing and logic. I will make a few suggestions: 1. The description of the internal personnel of the military command is a bit silly. I feel that only the protagonist is powerful. In fact, those who can be spies are not ordinary people. This writing is a bit unreasonable. 2. The description of the intrigues within the army is a bit too much and a bit depressing. Since it is a spy war article, it should be more important to write about the counter-espionage part. 3. The more low-key the agent, the better. The protagonist has white hair and a flamboyant acting style. These two points are not in line with the characteristics of an agent. It is really a bug and should be dealt with better. 4. Regarding the part about the Red Party, there is a description of how to get close to the Red Party's psychological activities, but the progress is indeed a bit slow. There have been so many chapters and no direct connection has been established, which is a bit delayed. Only after joining the Red Party, I believe the plot will be more ups and downs and more attractive. Personal suggestions, for reference only.

I only like two of the Qidian spy novels: The Spy Movie of the Republic of China, which was a bit unfinished and ended in a hurry. The other one is Cicada which is still being updated. I have read other books, but they are not as interesting as these two.

I finished reading it in one sitting, and I personally found it a bit overwhelming. The author writes a lot about various relationships. He must have written about officialdom before (or he may have worked in a government agency). I have been reading various spy novels since the Republic of China, and this one is considered a masterpiece. My personal suggestion is to reduce the internal fighting. Many people don't like to be smart when reading online articles. Find a strong backer and the protagonist focuses on counter-espionage. (The internal fighting is too brain-burning. There are all kinds of relationships to deal with, all kinds of superiors to worship, and arresting people is tied up.) The Red Party must also rely on it, otherwise 404, which is understandable. But hopefully it's not too tight. The heroine is optional. Of course, the author is good at writing about emotions and can write about it. Forget it if you're not good at it, many books are wasted on the female protagonist. (Don't read the harem. I also listened to the book next door, spying on the entire harem.) The recommendation vote has been cast. Investment was also made. Come on.

Well! Even if you are reborn, you can't catch the golden saucer. Why is the military command in Chongqing leaking like a sieve? Bad review. It's useless to round it back.

After reading dozens of chapters, I feel that the author's understanding of the society at that time and the working methods of underground intelligence agents were completely imaginary, and I really have no sense of immersion. It is recommended to read more spy dramas or similar novels, and don't have too many settings that are obviously inconsistent with the situation.

After reading more than a hundred chapters, I really can't stand it. The author's understanding of the internal affairs of the army is too superficial. Dai Li is called the boss within the army. This is a proprietary title. The bureau chief is usually the first director of the attendant's office who also serves as the director of the military affairs bureau. For internal purposes, they would not call Dai Li the bureau chief. Are they stupid, adding salt to the wound of Dai Li, the second-in-command? Also, the military commanders are not all idiots. I feel like there is only one protagonist who can do anything in the military commanders. Please get to know the Four King Kongs. Dai Li was never vague about the Japanese when he was in office. He has never been jealous of his subordinates. The military commander's power is very heavy, and he does not dare to take action against anyone, so the military bosses and the Executive Yuan should take care of it.
