Plum Blossoms Born in Winter

Dongmei was born in the winter of 1984 in a cave dwelling in a small mountain village in the northwest region. Her mother disappeared not long after she was born, and her father went crazy and jumped into a ditch. Dongmei became an orphan shortly after she was born. Her fate was as miserable as her mother's. Her second mother also died in people's spit. Dongmei grew in a harsh environment, but eventually bloomed with gorgeous flowers.
