The Serpent Coffin

On the day I was born, my family was moving our ancestral graves. My father killed a giant snake in its coffin just as it was about to shed its skin and transform into a serpent-dragon, nearly getting himself bitten to death in the process. A village rice medium saved my father with her life and left me a piece of black jade shaped like a snake, but she, too, was bitten to death. Just after my eighteenth birthday, the dead snake’s corpse appeared once more in my family’s ancestral coffin... Only the black snake inside the snake-shaped jade did everything it could to protect me, while also revealing the secrets of the Snake Coffin.
