The Strongest Odd-Job System in Journey to the West

Zhu Ba, a chronic procrastinator, was reborn in Journey to the West as the lazy, gluttonous Zhu Bajie. He figured he could coast through life and maybe become the Altar Cleanser Envoy someday. But then he got bound to the “Strongest Worker System.” Now he has to clock in on time, complete tasks assigned by his superiors, and even work overtime… Workers have grit, workers have soul; hard work is the only way to rise above! Zhu Ba’s goal is to become Journey to the West’s best employee!

“Bajie, you truly are my finest disciple. This Best Employee award is yours for the taking!”

“Brother Monkey, let go of that mission (demon) and let me handle it!”

“Second Brother, Master’s been captured by a demon!”

“Amitabha Buddha, everyone, I’m sorry, but work is all I care about!”

“Clock-in successful. You have obtained a thousand years of cultivation, the Thirty-Six Heavenly Transformations, the Seventy-Two Earthly Fiend Transformations…”

“Clock-in successful. You have obtained nine-thousand-year peaches, Ginseng Fruit, Purple Cloud Jade Grass, Azure Lotus Golden Pills…”
