I have read the first chapter and feel comfortable. I will abandon the book if the following situations occur in the future: children say adult things inexplicably, adults and children interact too much, and the protagonist is serious and pretentious.

It feels like a mess, with no coherent story line? A hammer here and there a stick here and there. It's already about fifty chapters. What has the protagonist done?
