The Princess's Path to Ascension

In the Mattia Empire, astrologers confidently proclaimed that the Empress's first child would be an exceptional heir to the throne. But the child was a girl, and the astrologers paid for their mistake with their lives. The girl was born with an extraordinary memory and understanding, but she always pretended to be slow-witted. A strange man told her she had been entrusted with a mission. Though she had no idea what that mission was, she couldn't stop moving forward in life. Her parents doted on her over little things but favored her brother when it mattered, and her grandmother was exceedingly “down-to-earth.” She had a group of strong-willed teachers and a crowd of oddball friends. The palace was thrown into chaos because of her, and she caused an uproar throughout the country. She always made an impression on people as someone who defied all expectations.
