The Celestial Court's Record Keeper

The human world grows ever more prosperous, while the celestial realm grows increasingly rotten.

The Dao Ancestor couldn't stand it any longer and decided to reform the celestial realm...

So Xue Gengjun was brought in by the Dao Ancestor to serve as a heavenly court chronicler, recording everything that happens in the celestial realm each day and keeping the immortals in check!

Taibai Jinxing: Your Majesty, this is terrible! Wukong's eighteenth son has been born. A strange phenomenon has appeared in the sky, and divine light reaches the heavens. There's also a secret report: Wukong's ninth concubine is pregnant again!

Xue Gengjun picked up his pen and recorded it.

Taibai Jinxing: Your Majesty, this is terrible! Yang Jian and Chenxiang, uncle and nephew, have rebelled again. They've already fought their way up to the eighteenth heaven!

Xue Gengjun picked up his pen and recorded it.

The Celestial Immortals' Representative Assembly.

Xue Gengjun: The Great Immortal Zhenyuan went down to the mortal world to study under rice expert Yuan in order to develop prehistoric agriculture, and achieved remarkable results. This commendation is hereby awarded in recognition of his achievement!

(A subversive, absurd, and utterly nonsensical story.)
