She Fell from the Clouds

After parting reluctantly at the train station, the lovers Yu Muyang and Lin Xue both believed they would be reunited soon and would be able to have their wedding as planned. But then disaster struck without warning. On an alleyway near home, Lin Xue encountered a thug with ill intentions. As she desperately tried to escape, she slipped, injured her ankle, and fell, leaving her at his mercy. Just then, Wang Xiaolong, a martial arts instructor who had long been secretly in love with her, appeared out of nowhere and made a heroic rescue. A year later, when Lin Xue and Yu Muyang, the lovers who had once longed for each other day and night, met again, their feelings remained, but they were no longer the same people. Their romance could not be rekindled.
