All I Can Do Is Save Myself

Sometimes Ye Xiaoshi thinks she ought to be called Ye Mingming, because: She was clearly terrible at math, yet somehow ended up majoring in accounting... She clearly wanted to change careers as soon as possible, yet stumbled into taking charge of the company's IPO... She was clearly cheerful and straightforward, and terrible at navigating social niceties, yet somehow ended up a little fox in the workplace... She had clearly been truly in love with a few people, yet eventually realized they had all been sent by fate to help her grow... More than anything, she had clearly wanted a warm home as a child, yet ended up traveling a long, lonely road... Is there some inevitable connection behind everything that goes wrong? Is there still a chance of getting the things we once wanted most? They say Buddha saves those with a destined connection, yet, all living beings suffer, and the Buddhas are busy. If you are someone with a destined connection, then you should realize that in life, you can only save yourself. This is the story of a girl who majored in accounting: her coming of age, reflections on life, struggles in the workplace, and romantic experiences. The industry secrets, people, and events depicted are entirely fictional.
