A Cat's Eye View

The Netherworld, beside the Bridge of Hel. A fortune-telling stall stood there, with a sign beside it. It read: “I Tell Neither Your Past Life Nor Your Next.” A black cat lay on the table, watching the passing ghosts with its two yin-yang eyes. “If you don't tell fortunes about this life or the next, then what do you tell?” a hanged ghost asked curiously, looking at the sign. The black cat glanced at him sidelong. The hanged ghost suddenly felt cold all over. He was already dead, so how could he still feel something like this? Could it be… the legend was true? Black cats really did eat ghosts… Terrified, the hanged ghost backed away again and again.
