As an impatient and irritable reader, I irresponsibly say that naming a character with an uncommon word is simply stupid. Is there any other meaning besides making the reader groan every time he or she sees the character's name and adding a layer of irritation? If the character names are different, will the novel be different? No, no one will be curious about the connotation of an ugly guy when they meet for the first time. Even if they are, they will probably be put off by the first sentence of the ugly guy - the lyrics are used in such an important part of the first chapter. Apart from these two points, the sudden cut to time travel after the flashback is over is as inconsistent as eating rice and the contents of the bowl suddenly turn into shit. As for the latter part, maybe it's well written? Maybe, as an impatient and irritable reader, my desire to explore has been lost.
