Domain Ring 1: Reunited at School

In Year 37 of Kongxia, a group of internationally renowned scientists created a portal to another world. Tens of thousands of people entered, but after that world collapsed and the portal ran low on energy, only a few thousand made it back. Those who survived gained unique abilities and traits unlike those of ordinary humans. They and their descendants came to be known as "Espers." Some monsters also escaped, and were dubbed "Esper Beasts."

This incident became known as the "Esper Incident."
