The Way of a Counselor

I barely read three chapters, but I really couldn't stand it anymore, not because of anything else, but because I was a bit uncomfortable with the first person narrative.

Newbie's work! Care too much about the first person ------ me! Too much writing! Elementary school level!

Very toxic, first person, bad writing, think carefully about why you haven't signed a contract yet, and have so few recommendations, I might as well cut it.

I feel like it would be better if I skip the first and second chapters. It's easy to persuade them to quit.

In the first person, the writing style is too colloquial, making it very verbose, dramatic, and has a poor sense of rhythm. The long story makes the reader feel particularly uncomfortable.
