True to My Ambitions

Few people know that Mu Wei’s surname is Shu. Since her teens, she has rarely returned to her family’s old home in the capital. In everyone’s eyes, she is a polished woman: efficient at work, impeccable in appearance, mysterious in her private life, and well-off. Everyone wonders what kind of person she will choose to spend the rest of her life with. Mu Wei first met An Yi three years ago at the group’s year-end banquet, but they only became close when she was twenty-eight, after her good friend Qi Yan got married. After returning from studying abroad at twenty-four and taking over the family business, An Yi spent his first three years working late into the night, traveling, attending social engagements, and holding meetings. Later, with capable people working under him, he finally had weekends and brief chances to rest. When he first met Mu Wei, he admired her poise and professional ability, but never considered a relationship beyond work. Then, when he was thirty, Li Wenze, his childhood friend, got married, giving two people who had felt nothing for each other an unforgettable experience. Only after meeting so many people and going through so much do you realize that the right person will find their way back to you, even after traveling a hundred thousand miles.
