The unfolding of the story needs to provide the reader with a perspective. Even if there are multiple characters POV (first-person perspective), it will switch back and forth between the perspectives of different characters. In other words, in the POV paragraph belonging to this character, he behaves like the protagonist in a usual work. But the perspective switches too frequently in this book, and it is too difficult to create a more distinct character image in this rhythm. When the writing power is insufficient, challenge the rapid perspective switching, and the final result will be a running account. So I advise the author to change the writing method.
