This Meng Po Is One of a Kind

When Hongmeng first came into being, the world was divided into Heaven, Earth, and the Mortal Realm. Heaven was the greatest of the three and ruled over all. The Mortal Realm was the world of the living, while Earth was the underworld.

Once the three realms were established, everyone, from the gods in Heaven to the underworld officials below, carried out their own duties.

Meng Xi had been in the world since the three realms were divided. She was originally a minor official in Heaven, but after seeing countless people embroiled in love and resentment, unable to let go even in death, she petitioned the Celestial Emperor for permission to stay in the underworld for a while.
