Little Cutie, Hurry and Hide Your Tail

[The unruly, arrogant, troublemaking school bully and academic underachiever vs. the sweet, innocent little mermaid]

Su Tangbei, a little mermaid with superhuman strength, had just come ashore when she knocked out school bully Li Yan, who was in the middle of a team fight. With a trembling hand and furious eyes, Li Yan was sitting in a wheelchair and hadn't even had time to curse her before she grabbed him by the throat. “My savior!”

[The study arc]

Li Yan saw the test paper Su Tangbei handed him and nearly laughed in disbelief. “Why did you write a Chinese essay on your English test?”

The little mermaid looked alarmed. “I-is that not allowed?”

Li Yan was furious. “Then why didn't you write physics on your math test?”

The little mermaid's face lit up with delight. “...I-is that allowed?”

Li Yan: “!!!!”

[The arguing arc]

“Su Tangbei, your savior is ranked dead last in the whole school!” When people mocked him, the little mermaid patted Li Yan on the shoulder. “I-it's okay. He's only last in the whole school, n-not the whole country. There's still hope.”

Li Yan: “?!!!”

Li Yan feared nothing, except seeing the little crybaby shed tears.

For the sake of a little crybaby he'd picked up, the school bully and academic underachiever who ranked last transformed into the nation's top student and heartthrob scholar.
