I thought it was mediocre at first, but I clicked my tongue in the middle of the book and turned my head in admiration: Thoughts after reading the first article "The Girl Mends the Sky" When I just finished reading this article, the evaluation was only fair. I think the author has a good imagination. The details are not rigorous but the conception is clever and interesting enough to move people. Among this year's science fiction short stories, it is definitely a good work. However, I rested for a noon after reading, and several points that I thought about while reading lingered in my mind. There were flaws that I felt at the time, and there were also points worth pondering. The more I thought about it, the more interesting it became. Then I thought of the heroine flying to the No. 1 Pit of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses at the end. With a bang, I suddenly understood and understood the truth behind many of the previous details. I can't help but admire the author's exquisite conception! Here I will share with you what I discovered: 1. The 9999 stars in the night sky: The world in the article only has night, and there are 9999 stars in the sky, which will never change. According to legend, the tomb of Qin Shihuang has a river of mercury below and the sun, moon and stars made of precious stones. The number will naturally never change, so this is obviously the tomb of Qin Shihuang. 2. Eternal lamp and brazier: Since it is the tomb of the First Emperor, there should naturally be an eternal lamp made of shark oil. 3. Giant remains: The "Insect Man" tribe has unearthed giant remains, which are likely to be terracotta warriors and horses, or they may be the remains of Qin Shihuang and the people buried with him! I personally think that if the author could change the description and make it more suggestive that the excavated giant remains are the remains of Qin Shihuang, then the story would be more expressive! 4. Color decay and material loss: After the male protagonist died, the color of the world gradually lost, and materials, paper, wood, etc. Gradually decayed. This was of course not because of the space-time curvature theory he had guessed, but because of oxidation! Oxidation! Originally I didn't think about this link, so I felt that it was not handled well, and even suspected of being a civil society issue. Now that I think about it, it seems like the gears clicked together. Although it may not be particularly rigorous, as a story, it is already a very exquisite idea! 5. Moths flying into flames: The "Insect Man" race must be some kind of insect-type intelligent creatures. It is short-lived and has wings. The heroine finally flies out of the world, feeling like a moth flying into a flame. The imagery is beautiful! 6. Holy Scripture: Long strip, obviously an ancient bamboo slip, recording the story of Nuwa patching up the sky. From the perspective of evaluating a soft science fiction piece, this short story has completely exceeded my expectations. Looking at the science fiction I watched in 2019, it can be said that it is unparalleled. This is what good science fiction works should be, allowing people to enjoy the story as well as the intellectual fun! Of course there are some shortcomings in the details, but the story is really good. I wish the author can sign the contract as soon as possible. I believe it will be a big hit.
