The Salted Fish's Calamity

Today he ran into some damn golden finger System and got bound to it for no reason. What’s all this nonsense about an accidental reunion being a beautiful encounter? It makes no sense at all!

After a clumsy conversation, he got a rough idea of how this so-called System worked.

Dugu Xiu’er shook his head three times, insisting that this was no pleasant experience. He didn’t want a System like this. Wouldn’t it be much nicer to live peacefully as a lazy bum?

The problem was that this System was so useless… at wasting money!

Why spend money when nothing’s going on?

Wouldn’t it be better to save it for instant noodles?

The unscrupulous System retorted, “A life without spending money is meaningless. As long as you pay up, the System will take you to the top.”

Dugu Xiu’er: “Actually, I refuse. I don’t want to…”

(Ending: Uh, this is actually pretty great!)
