It Wasn't the Wind That Moved, but My Heart

Jing Fan, 26, is a teacher at a well-regarded elementary school in the city. By pure chance, her landlady introduces her to a part-time job and even tries to set her up. A remarkable romance begins. Jing Fan resolves to help Gu Shi'an study hard and keep improving, only to discover that her student’s older brother, Gu Zhongchuan, is handsome, successful at work, single, and has a cat, a house, and a car. He also met her ten years ago! What a strange man. Strange enough to make her heart flutter. Jing Fan prays that if she wins the lottery, she’ll confess to Gu Zhongchuan. But why is he always one step ahead of her? Gu Zhongchuan: “If you like, I can confess to you every day.” Gu Zhongchuan: “If you’re willing, we can get our marriage license tomorrow.” Jing Fan: Why is he so good at flirting? I can’t lose. The trouble is, once they start dating, they gain a whole crowd of fans shipping them. Cheering them on and playing matchmaker is all in a day’s work. Landlady: Isn’t this sweeter than corn? Mrs. Gu: The more I look at you two, the more perfect you seem together. Son, you have to marry Xiao Fan! Gu Shi'an: No one can take Teacher Jing away from me, except my brother. Teacher Chen sends an application for a surgery appointment. Teacher Wu sends an invitation to the mountaineering club. Teacher Mo sends a wedding invitation for his daughter. Professor Gu: “My wife and I are already preparing to have a baby. Thanks for your concern.” Jing Fan: “…” From then on, Teacher Jing’s days are wonderfully full: lesson planning by day, trying for a baby by night. God Gu, God Gu, I’m begging you to act like a normal person.
