Green Jade Sheng

Everyone knows of Sun Wukong, the spirit monkey born from the Stone of Nüwa. But who has heard of Yuling Sheng, the immortal rabbit born from a jade at He Tai? Ever since Sun Wukong forcibly took Yuling Sheng as his disciple, she has never learned a single respectable skill. Sure enough, she eventually gets into serious trouble and asks to descend to the mortal realm to undergo tribulation. That might have been fine if it were only a tribulation, but of all people, she just had to run into that refined scoundrel, Bai Qingze. Tell me, General, what have I ever done to deserve this? I’ve simply been in love with you for a long time. Many years later, Yuling Sheng finally understood the line storyteller Old Yu loved to recite: The affairs of the mortal world cannot be undone. Back then, she thought it was only a mortal tribulation. How hard could it be? He had always believed that longing for someone was embarrassing and heartbreaking, and best avoided. But had he known he would one day love this person so deeply, he would have abandoned all six realms and the world itself, just to hide away with her and never be parted. In the end, even that wish became an unattainable dream.
