The Actor Is Ready

“The actors are in place. Let the performance begin.”

Jiang Zhou, a newcomer with a remarkable ability to immerse himself in his roles and a distinctive understanding of character, made a name for himself on the major director-casting reality show Actors in Position, winning the favor of the director-judges.

Jiang Zhou soon rose to fame and went farther and farther down the path of acting. But he wasn't content with that. His dream was to become a visionary director who could leave behind countless classic films and television series for future generations.

Then an accident happened. After the wrap party, he woke up as a struggling bit-part actor in a parallel world.

In this life, Jiang Zhou was determined to fulfill the dream he had left unfinished.

Years later, a female reporter held up her microphone and asked Jiang Zhou:

“Director Jiang, insiders have revealed that you came up with the idea for this major director-casting reality show, Actors in Position. A program like this has never been done in the country before. What was your original intention in creating it?”

“To discover more newcomer actors with a talent for performing, so that no hidden gems go unnoticed!”

In short, this is a story about hard work and passing the torch.
