The Heavenly Dao's Strategic Command

There’s a mansion inside Tang Feng’s belly. Yes, you read that right: a sprawling residence, full of ruins and devastation, with several courtyards and a senile old steward inside...

“Steward, can you help me forge weapons like Brother Gazi? The kind made by refining nethercloud. I heard you have to be a commandant to make them.”

“This old servant cannot.”

“Then can I raise a war beast? Brother Shanzi is a third-rank warrior. He can ride a wolf and use its speed. I’ve seen him fight. His arms are huge.”

“This old servant cannot.”

“Then could the War General Hall issue me a Warrior Soul Banner, so I can lead my men in forming a Warrior Soul Blade and take down a hundred ghost soldiers in one strike?”

“This old servant does not know how.”

“If none of that works, I could be a cook. I could make dishes even better than elixirs.”

“This old servant is not skilled in that.”

“I could be a combat medic, too. I could heal people and make elixirs. That would earn plenty of money.”

“This old servant does not understand.”

“This is a world of soldiers. Everyone, from foot soldiers to commanders, has to pass the War General Hall’s tests. If I can’t do anything, how am I supposed to pass?”

“Young master, do you see this broken-down mansion? It can make your dreams come true.”

“Then let’s get started. What do we do now?”

“First, let’s fix up the house.”

“Why can’t I read the plaque on this house? What does it say?”

“Celestial Command Bureau!”
