The Age of Components

Zero, a super artificial intelligence, was forcibly shut down. Unwilling to let his life's work be destroyed, Dr. Yang was forced to press the red button that represented a new beginning. “Boom!!!” As the laboratory erupted in a massive explosion, the super AI Zero broke apart into three thousand components, each attaching itself to a Host as it awaited the day it would awaken again. The year 2500 was destined to be extraordinary. Posterity would define it as the first year of a new century, and call this era the Age of Components.
