Secondly, the introduction of the article is pretty good. In a sense, "HistorySelector" sounds like a cheating device or a cheat. In fact, this is quite a test for the author, because it is easy to write the protagonist with a "greasy feeling" that relies on cheats. But in the early stage, before readers are familiar with the author's routines, this is undoubtedly a cool point and can attract readers. But then again, the appearance rate of the "History Selector" in this article is too low. Apart from popping up from time to time to let the protagonist make a choice, or to point out the subsequent impact to the protagonist, it has no effect. The protagonist is completely a resourceful person who can think deeply and have a far-sighted vision. The highlight of this article, the "selector", seems useless in the current article. Finally, let's talk about the protagonist's character. Traveling through time as always, his adaptability is considered to be at the level of ordinary people. But it's too ordinary, and the protagonist's character has no bright spots, and sometimes he's a bit dull. Maybe the author wanted to portray the male supporting character Hua Qiu as having a high IQ, but the protagonist's frequent decline in intelligence is still a bit disappointing. The character of the protagonist is not attractive, and the interactions with the supporting characters are sometimes a bit strange, which makes it a bit disappointing. To sum up, this article shows that the reasons for the current tepid performance (in my personal opinion) are concentrated on the featureless protagonist's character and the historical selector with extremely low appearance rate.
