Some notes on dialects in the book
Personally, I believe that dialect is an important part of the work. It is simple, clear and impressive for expressing the characters' inner thoughts, personality traits, regional characteristics, customs, etc. Given the context, there are probably only a few places that I really don't understand. However, in the later period of the text, with the changes of the times, more and more people spoke Mandarin, and correspondingly fewer dialects were spoken. Thank you everyone for watching and commenting.
The author wrote this book specifically to adapt it into a TV series.
Happy New Year! All the best!
In the first chapter, I feel that the author is not a native of Shanghai. One Shanghai never talks about alleys, only alleys. Two, make rice and stir-fry vegetables in the morning? Keep it simple first, usually it's leftovers from last night, plus some moldy tofu pickles
The subject matter is so good, it's even more exciting than the previous book, and it's going to win another award!
There's actually a new book out! Applause, applause👏
I always have to jump to read, and I can't find the normal logic, which is very uncomfortable.
The Shanghainese flavor is very strong, and some local accents are hard to understand.
Received
Thank you for the great encouragement! Here I go again. Both books are very beautiful. I read more than 20 chapters of this new book. Book first and take a look later 😁
Be the first to chase your investment. Take a good look at this book, the writing style is plain.
Happy New Year to the car god! Wonderful writing!
Why are there no more than 300 collections of this book? 🌚. Isn't it good?
The author is telling a two-line narrative. Can you mark the time when changing the timeline? Otherwise it will be a bit tiring to jump around.
After learning from the painful experience, I decided to make a major change in the narrative style of this book. Wait a moment.
First, the two narrative lines were canceled and changed to chronological order, first in the 1980s and then in the 1990s. The second is to make appropriate adjustments in dialect, giving priority to understandable expressions. The adjustment may take some time, so readers please wait a moment.
What do you think? There are two lines. I still like to read realistic books.
Explanation of the two time narrative lines in this book
1. Characters were mostly called by their nicknames in the 1980s, and by their first names in the 1990s; 2. About four chapters in the 1990s + three chapters in the 1980s count as one transition; 3. The plot basically corresponds to the year and month of each era, and advances in parallel.
Shanghai used to be the place I most wanted to visit, so I started reading Fengche Dada's masterpiece, looking forward to a lively story about Shanghai.
It has been added to the collection. It has great ideas and the author's writing is very good. This book title makes people want to click on it. I visited with my work "The Witcher Begins in America". Thank you!
