That Demon

As a seasoned old demon, An Xing had seen just about everything. Except...

“I have feelings for you.”

An Xing kept a blank expression. Maybe she was getting old, because her hearing wasn’t what it used to be.

“Do you have even the slightest feelings for me?”

Still no expression. You’re just a kid. Don’t say things like that.

“If you won’t answer, I’ll take that as a yes?”

Huh?

Lightning struck the top of the tomb, and the Guardian Demon emerged.

But why, the moment she came out, did she run into things like “the evil spirit of the Su residence,” “the Xiling sacrifice,” and “a bride marrying a mouse”...?

As demons, we should be a little reserved and inscrutable. That’s what gives a master their air of authority.

Note: The male lead appears rather late, around a dozen chapters in, but he will show up. 1v1
