Cultivation Requires Obeying the Law

A new county magistrate took up his post in Liaoyuan County, and from then on, the entire cultivation world underwent a dramatic transformation because of him.

Fighting over rare treasures of heaven and earth?

Brawl in a crowd, and you’ll be sentenced to hard labor.

Exploring the resting place of an immortal in search of legendary ancient ruins?

Grave robbing and tomb raiding: a serious crime punishable by confiscation of your estate!

At the Execution Platform, celestial masters and Immortal Venerables from every direction sat cross-legged as our magistrate stamped his feet and pounded his chest, denouncing them in a sharp voice.

“You celestial masters and Immortal Venerables are all getting on in years. Can’t you learn from those great demons next door and behave yourselves? Stop causing so much trouble!”

The celestial masters exchanged bewildered looks and sighed inwardly. Those demonkind have nearly all been locked up in your monster park for ‘scientific breeding.’ Of course they behave!

The magistrate planted his hands on his hips and spoke earnestly.

“Everyone, even if we’re cultivating immortality, we still have to follow the basic laws.”
