Actually, this question is very simple. First of all, we need to list the differences between humans and other animals in the last days in various aspects. 1. There are far more other animals than humans. Although mutations are common, mutations that can be regarded as species evolution are rare events after all. Death events far outnumber mutation events in environmental mutations, but the number of animals is large, which makes them appear to be too many. And individuals without mutations are basically dead according to the law of survival of the fittest. If the apocalypse lasts long enough, most of those left behind will be mutated. 2. Human beings are intelligent and will deliberately avoid radiation and other factors that pose physical threats to humans to protect themselves. Animals can't, they don't know anything, they only know to survive and snatch the territory that humans have given up. (Such as the wasteland after nuclear war, etc.) 3. Animal mutation is conducive to survival in the apocalypse, but humans are not. Animals can only live on their own, while humans rely on technology and do not need mutation. It's like the hidden routine in Marvel movies: if you want to be a superhero, the rich rely on technology, and the poor rely on mutation. From an ethical point of view: variation is an individual phenomenon as well as a group phenomenon, and human groups are social groups. Once human beings mutate, it is not luck, nor will they be able to have superpowers from now on, but a disease! Mutation is directionless, and the vast majority of mutations are harmful to living organisms. The reason why animal variation can be preserved is the result of the law of natural selection and the evolution of species. As for human beings, if they are ill, they must be cured. If they are not cured, they will be alienated. They will be abandoned by others and eliminated by human society. This is also a law of elimination. Even if the human species wants to evolve, it will not be as rough and cruel as animals: the size suddenly becomes larger, the appearance suddenly becomes ugly, the personality suddenly becomes irritable, etc. For humans, this is socially unacceptable and will only destroy the human order. Humans have their own methods, such as: gene lock! To sum up: Human beings do not want to mutate. The so-called nuclear pollution environment suitable for mutation is actually the result of human beings getting out of control. Human beings have a strong sense of control. Human beings will not passively choose to evolve. Human beings must control their own destiny!
