So, Childhood Sweetheart

I wanted to write a spoiled, ditzy character who wasn’t too unlikeable. In the novels I’ve read, characters like this are usually nasty female antagonists. But then I thought: what if she had an admirer who seemed kind and upright on the outside but was rotten to the core within, and the nasty antagonist was always picking on him and making unreasonable demands? Then one day, she marries him. That could be fun. But my writing skills are limited, so I’m not sure I can capture that feeling. I’ll do my best. This story is almost finished. What’s left is mostly everyday life, and there aren’t many chapters, maybe ten or twenty at most. After that, I’ll start updating the one about the martial world. I’d been wondering whether to put this book behind a paywall since it’s almost finished. But the courier fee to mail my signed contract was eight yuan, and I wanted to earn that back. I still haven’t managed it, which is rather depressing. Anyway, there won’t be any major twists from here on, so you can consider the wedding the ending if you like. I’ll update the rest now and then. I’m currently writing the martial world story. Once I’ve saved up a few chapters, I’ll start updating it again.
