Don't Be Afraid, Prince. The Princess Isn't Angry

Unmarried men and women of Chang'an, rejoice! The third daughter of the Cheng family, yes, that very Miss Cheng who once snatched a handsome man right off the street, is finally getting married. The emperor has betrothed her to Prince Ping, yes, that Prince Ping who has been engaged three times and whose three previous fiancées all died, as if he were cursed! At last, you don't have to worry about being terrorized by either of them! The emperor says: “It wasn't easy pretending to be drunk and impulsively arranging this marriage!” General Cheng says: “It wasn't easy getting the emperor drunk!” The Third Miss Cheng and Prince Ping say: “?!...@#%&*￥” The next day, rumors swept the capital that Prince Ping, Yang Fang'an, had been so frightened by the imperial edict that he burst into tears! Who wouldn't cry? Before General Cheng joined the army, he was a street hooligan, but he never got the better of his wife, who came from a family of butchers! The eldest Miss Cheng once broke her fiancé's leg just because he stood on a gate tower. The second Miss Cheng snatched the newly crowned top scholar right outside the palace gates and took him home to marry. And the unmarried third Miss Cheng is the fiercest of them all: she even stole her elder sisters' dowries. Who wouldn't be afraid of her? As someone who has transmigrated, the Third Miss Cheng has no complaints about the imperial decree. This is the famous Great Kang dynasty from history! She hears that the Seventh Prince and Sixth Prince grew up together. Her shops could use a powerful backer, and the Sixth Prince has a bright future, so once she marries into his household, she plans to cling tightly to his coattails. As for the Seventh Prince, he can go sit on the sidelines. After the two marry, the people of Chang'an discover that the Third Miss Cheng has changed her ways. She actually takes the initiative to find Prince Ping a concubine! They say Prince Ping is so happy he cries! Only years later do they realize that the Princess Consort of Prince Ping is indeed the most ruthless of all the Cheng sisters. This is the story of a fox who plays dumb to catch tigers and a Chihuahua who loves throwing his weight around and thinks he's a tiger~ Scene One: At their first meeting after getting engaged, he stands in a grove of peach trees, dressed in white and looking like an immortal. But when a bug suddenly drops from a tree, he lets out an embarrassing shriek. A woman dressed like a gold ingot dashes over, brushes the bug off him, and steps on it. After completing the graceful motion in one fluid go, she gives him a half-smile and says: “If you ever dare disobey me, I promise you'll end up worse than that bug.” She presses down harder with the foot pinning the bug, making the man's face turn white. She nods in satisfaction, not noticing the smile in his eyes. Scene Two: One day after their wedding, she suddenly brings a concubine into the residence. Terrified when he hears the news, Prince Ping rushes back to the inner courtyard and throws himself at his wife's legs (after tripping). “My love, I'm not taking a concubine! I swear I'm not! Please don't scare me like this. If I've done something wrong, just tell me. Don't punish me by bringing in a concubine!” “Who said she was for you?” The Princess Consort of Prince Ping frowns, keeping a stern, disdainful face as she looks at the handsome man on the verge of tears. “Don't worry about that concubine. I didn't bring her in for you. I have a use for her.” Now Prince Ping really wants to cry. If she isn't for him, then who is she for? And what use could she be? Is she more useful than him? Unwilling to accept this, Prince Ping immediately decides to try harder that night. It's time to show his true abilities! Scene Three: The emperor's cousin, Wu Xiangxiang, is a celebrated general who has never married. She and the Princess Consort of Prince Ping are close friends, and the two have even gone into business together, opening a brothel. At home practicing calligraphy, Prince Ping grumbles as usual: “That cousin-in-law is so annoying. She's probably teaching Zhuzhu bad habits again. If only there were a way to stop Zhuzhu from going out and meeting bad people~” A glimpse into the Prince Ping household's delightfully unconventional, lovey-dovey daily life
