The Emperor's Scheme, the Crown Prince's Allure

Ji Ge had barely had time to warm her Best Actress trophy when, overnight, she became the abandoned princess of Yin. With few cards in her hand, she might as well win over an emperor. In the court, silent blades gleam. She dances on the edge of a knife, playing the peerless strategist. In a world torn by chaos, her schemes are unfathomable. She moves among the warring states, becoming a captivating crown prince. From then on, watch as she disguises herself as a man, aiming to charm every beauty under heaven. She'll pass through a garden of flowers without a single petal clinging to her. Who could have guessed... The person whose backing she chose would turn out to be gay? Ji Ge: Your Majesty, please stop putting your hands on me. We're supposed to be good brothers. Cheng Xijue: When did I put my feet on you? And who said we're brothers? Ji Ge: I am the crown prince of a great nation. Why would I ever humble myself before you? Cheng Xijue: Then tell me, Crown Prince, what position do you like? Ji Ge: Your Majesty, with the empress's seat vacant, the realm is unstable. Why not hold a selection of consorts? Cheng Xijue: Aiqing Ji, come to the imperial study after court so we can discuss this in detail. His master only shook his head and sighed: The world has really gone downhill. Who'd have thought His Majesty liked men? Inside the imperial study, she was pinned beneath him, the door locked. The foolish emperor grinned. “Or would you rather be on top?” Years later, Ji Ge said to Cheng Xijue, “My goal is the stars and the sea. Falling in love with you was just practice for my acting.” She had thought it was all just a play in which both sides were willing participants. Little did she know that her acting was so poor, she'd let him steal her heart. [Thank you, dear readers, for your favorites and comments. Your support is my greatest encouragement.]
