The Order of Red Makeup

A daughter’s dream, adorned in finery stretching ten miles; her bridal robes become her armor.

If she could still live in the familiar world, a peaceful, ordinary life would be a blessing. Sadly, Wanrou transmigrated.

If she had loving parents and the protection of her family, she would gladly be a sheltered young lady who knew nothing of the world. Sadly, her parents died young and her relatives are cold-hearted, leaving Wanrou no choice but to scheme at every turn.

A marriage decree, a conspiracy, and the fates of two strangers become tightly bound together.

Her flowerlike beauty intoxicates all who see it. In a time of peace, she would have wished to ride freely through life and grow old hand in hand with her beloved. But who could have foreseen the land falling into turmoil?

You treat me with deep devotion, and I will stand with you as your comrade in arms. We swear to defend this beautiful land.
