Ten years ago, a meteorite descended, causing a riot by the Maple Beasts, causing countless human casualties. Moya's parents both died. Earl Maple Leaf stepped forward and spent half a year to stop the riot, and was awarded the title of earl. He later found and adopted his old friend's son, Moya. Ten years later, the meteorite came again, but brought a different truth.
