The Green of Yesteryear Remains

(This is a domineering CEO romance disguised by a literary title. The CEO isn’t secretly brooding, the plot isn’t melodramatic, and there’s no angst, just sweet, doting romance.)

“Is the green from years past still there?” After war and separation, Han Hong’s words expressed both his love for and doubts about his beloved. But between Zhai Wan and Luo Xi, there is no doubt, only love and trust.

Zhai Wan and Luo Xi got together in their sophomore year of college, but an accident separated them. Because Zhai Wan lost his memory, they did not see each other for three years. One kept working to grow stronger, hoping to recover his memories, while the other kept searching for the one she loved. When they finally met again, Zhai Wan fell in love with Luo Xi all over again at first sight, without hesitation.

She stayed by his side as he recovered his memories, and together they created new memories that belonged only to them.

Zhai Wan: “Even if I forget the whole world, even if I forget you, my feelings for you will never change. Losing my memory won’t change my love for you, and neither will time. I love you because you’re you! Once I’ve chosen you, there can only ever be you!”

Luo Xi: “Your stubbornness used to make me miserable and suffocated. I even wanted to get away. But when I lost you, I realized I had already gotten used to your stubbornness and couldn’t live without you.”
