Summoned to a World of Gods and Demons

In 2145, technology invented by superintelligent AI had surpassed human imagination. A company called World of Gods and Demons released an augmented reality game of the same name. Using cutting-edge synthetic biology, players could summon creatures in nutrient solution, and the game became a worldwide sensation. At that time, a young man who had been born 55 years earlier awoke. At 18, he had been cryogenically frozen in liquid nitrogen at minus 196 degrees Celsius after contracting a terminal illness.
