Online Gaming: The Streamer Has Plenty of Tricks

The female players of the competitive game Special Assault Vanguard have lately been consumed with envy and jealousy toward the noob player "Early to Bed, Early to Rise Is Good for Your Health." She has two of the game's biggest heartthrobs all to herself: TryMe and Xbug. TryMe is a wildly popular streamer with a halo of fame and a wealthy young master. Through her sheer stupidity and blunt honesty, "Early to Bed, Early to Rise Is Good for Your Health" somehow charmed the top player, who even announced during a livestream that she was someone he would protect. But she responded by quitting the game. Reliable sources say he is also tirelessly pursuing her in real life, taking one defeat after another and coming back stronger every time. Xbug is a gentle, approachable genius programmer with a voice so soothing it gets under your skin. He not only uses an alternate account to play ranked matches with "Early to Bed, Early to Rise Is Good for Your Health," but reportedly takes good care of her in real life, too. Some insiders even claim they're already living happily together! But it seems TryMe isn't ready to give up, and is still trying to take his place. Ah! So many fangirls' dream guys have been snatched away by "Early to Bed, Early to Rise Is Good for Your Health." Xiang Yao, however, finds the whole thing exasperating. After a breakup, she got hooked on Special Assault Vanguard, only to accidentally provoke two top players she couldn't afford to offend. It turns out TryMe is the company's investor, the big boss everyone, even the CEO, has to grovel to. And it turns out Xbug is the company's new technical director. With all the girls throwing themselves at him, she, a single woman getting on in years, had better keep her distance. But, Director, what are you doing? First you disappeared without a word, then you kissed me during a game of Truth or Dare. Why did you force your main account to lose rank just so you could team up with me? And you, Mr. Investor, what are you up to? Why insist on being my personal trainer? And why keep confessing your love to me over and over? And now there's even a young intern who wants to date me despite our age difference. Seriously, what is going on with this world?
