The Path of Darkness

At the instant of the Big Bang, the universe began to expand, and life began to flourish. The closer to the center, the earlier civilization arose and the more advanced it became. Earth, however, lay on the fringes...

Chen Feng, who worked in import-export trade, drank himself to death on his wedding night. When he awoke, his soul had taken over the body of an alien black-armored noble. In an instant, he possessed immense personal power and the privileges of the ruling class. It was a meteoric rise. Yet he could never stop thinking of Earth, for on that blue planet were his new bride, his aging parents and family, and the career he had poured his heart into... There was far too much he could not leave behind. So as soon as he awoke, he began making plans with one goal in mind: returning to Earth.

Contact with more advanced aliens brought him a high-performance spaceship, making his journey home far simpler and quicker than he had expected. But it also drew him into the empire's internal power struggles, while the brutal war on the front lines put him through trials he would never forget.

Never forgetting that he was an Earthling, he claimed the solar system as his territory through his military achievements. From then on, he set out to develop Earth's potential and steadily increase his own influence, along with that of his home star system.
