Half a Lifetime of Joy

Declaration 1: We Yin-Yang practitioners are neither SSR Onmyoji nor ghosts and spirits who travel between the underworld and the mortal realm. We are scientific researchers who use the Yin-Yang and Five Elements to uncover the mysteries of the universe. Declaration 2: A fun, carefree rebirth, with no inner-court scheming, just a battle for the world. Grandma said: A wise one prophesied that when a sage arrives wearing a plain white robe, carrying the souls of the sun and moon, and riding the wind on feathers, the light of peace will descend. Grandma said: Yuliang, you bear Heaven’s mandate. Go find the sage. So I left the mountains and set out, only to discover that before I found the sage, I had recovered my sealed memories of a past life... Indeed: Yin and Yang give birth to the cycles of life; Heaven and Earth nurture mountains and rivers. Pitying this child’s bitter past, they grant her another half-life of joy.
