③ Take My Hand, and I'll Lead You Away (Now on Sale)

◆ [Their First Meeting]◆

She is an unknown intern reporter, while he is a rich young man who gave up inheriting his family business to make his own fortune from scratch.

She is beautiful and fresh-faced. Though still inexperienced, she stands out from the crowd.

He is deep and aloof, leaving her with nothing but the sight of his slender, retreating figure.

He sends her abroad, leaving her with a single warning: “Chang Youyou, you’d better not come back. Otherwise, you know what will happen.”

◆ [Their Reunion]◆

She is an accomplished field host and journalist who has returned after completing her studies. He is the man every news outlet wants an exclusive interview with.

He corners her in the corridor. “Chang Youyou, I didn’t realize you were this kind of person... You can avoid everyone else if you want, but why are you avoiding me too?”

◆ [Two Years]◆

He never confessed his feelings to her, yet he stood steadfastly behind her for two whole years.

Whenever she needed him, he was always there.

His mark was everywhere in her life.

She thought that was love.

She thought he was the one.

In the end, it was no more than Zhuangzi’s dream of the butterfly. He held back a third of his heart, while she had already fallen to the bottom.

◆ [Him and Her]◆

He is He Zijin. She is Chang Youyou.

A love as brilliant as fireworks, yet as humble as dust.

Love and hate take endless twists and turns, but thankfully, in the end, the years are peaceful and they hold hands in love.

“Your collar, so green; my longing, so deep.”

Youyou: “Can we break up?”

Zijin: “No.”

Youyou: “...Why not?”

Zijin: “It’s like ordering food at a restaurant. You’ve taken a bite, and there’s nothing wrong with the dish. Do you think they’ll let you return it?”

Youyou: “But we’re not right for each other...”

Zijin: “It’s like ordering food at a restaurant. You’ve taken a bite and realized you wanted salad dressing but accidentally ordered caviar. Do you think they’ll let you exchange it? Do you really want to buy another dish? Just make do and eat it.”

Youyou: “...Oh.”
