Darling, My Cute Wife Wants a Divorce

A sharp-tongued, scheming older man VS a sweet, innocent little girl. Please adopt me!

For the man she loves, she agrees to marry a scheming CEO she’s never met, and the two of them are soon at each other’s throats:

[Before the wedding]: We can get married, but we need three ground rules!

1. The marriage will last one year. If we still have no feelings for each other after that, we’ll divorce by mutual agreement!

2. You’re not allowed to touch me unless I’m willing!

3. We’ll keep the marriage secret. You can’t tell anyone about our relationship.

She expected him to bargain, but to her surprise, he agreed without hesitation.

Su Meng was confused but delighted. Only later did she realize how naïve she’d been, and how devious the CEO was!

[After the wedding]: They supposedly didn’t know each other at all, yet he knew all her likes and dislikes. He constantly complained about her, but doted on her all the same.

His face was completely unfamiliar, so why did his presence feel so familiar it frightened her?

Was this sudden meeting and marriage the beginning of a love that had taken root long ago, or a carefully laid scheme?

When the truth finally came out, she realized that behind his boundless affection lay an unwavering devotion.

But she couldn’t stay by his side...

[A little post-wedding sparring]:

1. Fu Jingshen stood nearby, watching her struggle to learn how to cook. He rubbed his temples and suddenly said, “Want to hear a riddle?”

“Huh?”

“All the pigs in the world are dead. Name a song.”

“What?”

Fu Jingshen glanced at her. “At least I still have you.”

Su Meng raised her cleaver. “Fu! Jing! Shen! I’m! Going! To! Kill! You!”

2. With nothing better to do, Su Meng set up an easel in the yard to paint, only for Fu Jingshen to mock and criticize her as usual.

Annoyed, she challenged him to paint something himself, but he held his brush for ages without making a single stroke.

At last, she’d found something he wasn’t good at. Hands on her hips, she teased, “Hey! If you’re so dumb, what are you and a pig?”

Fu Jingshen looked back at her calmly. “Husband and wife.”

Su Meng wanted to flip the table! (╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻
