The Emperor's Heartless Intentions: The Clumsy Consort (Finale)

Born in the Year of the Pig, she was naturally sleepy, easygoing and content, with a carefree, open heart. She had no great ambition in life. All she wanted was a place where she could sleep in peace, and nothing more. Who could have guessed that she would wake up one day in a strange dynasty? Heavens, was even taking a nap enough to offend you? Never mind. Since she was here, she might as well make herself at home. She’d only changed where she slept, after all. But why did people keep disturbing her sweet dreams? She tried to sleep in bed, but the emperor woke her up. She tried to sleep in a tree, but the prince disturbed her. She even tried sleeping in the woodshed, and somehow it caught fire! Fine, then. She’d crawl under the bed and see who could still disturb her dreams. Now things had really gotten out of hand. The whole palace was in an uproar, searching for their missing Sleeping Consort. A woman rubbed her bleary eyes and looked at the strange man beside her. No way. They found her even here? “Who are you?” she asked. “An assassin,” he replied. She nodded, rolled over, and said, “Don’t tell anyone I’m sleeping here, okay?” A soft snore sounded, like a little pig fast asleep.
