The splendor fades, and beneath the brilliance of peach blossoms, the young girl gazes at him with shining eyes. “When my hair reaches my waist, will you marry me?” She gave him the finest years of her life, only to be burned alive in the end. Someone once said that falling in love with a Buddha would send you to hell. She went to hell, but where was the Buddha? A cup of sorrow-forgetting wine severed her love and kept her heart guarded. When they met again, she lay drunk in another man’s arms, laughing and chatting merrily as she raised her cup in invitation. “Master, are you drunk?”
