Frostlight

This is an utterly ordinary story.

This is a short story, with no espionage or palace intrigue, no bloodshed, and no beautiful scenery.

In fact, you could easily call it a tired, melodramatic cliché.

It was inspired by Hetu's song "Ruhua." When I first heard it, it seemed as ordinary as a green leaf in a thick forest, too unremarkable to stir any feelings. But listening again, I felt fine threads of pain slowly spreading through my heart.

That is only how the author felt.

That is only what the song brought to the author's mind.

That is only a clichéd story made up of clichéd plot elements.
