The Space of a Food Therapist

Sifang City was a lovely place. Xia Hanning lived there with her father, leading a quiet, ordinary life.

Kangshou College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was one of the top institutions of its kind in Huaguo. It was renowned nationwide not only for its outstanding teaching, but also for its excellent job prospects.

As an outstanding student at Kangshou College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Xia Hanning was sure to have a smooth future. After graduating, she would work at a hospital or pharmaceutical institution, then find a man she liked, marry, and have children...

Just as she thought her life would continue along the same predictable path as countless others, a birthday gift brought an unexpected splash of color to her world.

A pocket dimension that came from nowhere, and a miraculous spring. With their help, she made a name for herself in the field of food therapy. But one mysterious incident after another cast a deep shadow over it all...

Excerpt:

Xia Hanning collapsed onto the ground, staring at the raging sea of flames before her. It seemed like a demon from hell, its face twisted into a savage grin. In the middle of the blaze, someone was struggling for their life.

“Miss, take my advice and forget what you saw tonight when you get home. It’ll be better that way.” The man appeared silently at her side, the corners of his mouth lifted, though his warning was unmistakable.

“D-don’t worry. I didn’t see anything.” The sudden appearance of the man made Xia Hanning's hair stand on end, but she forced herself to stay calm.

“Good. That puts my mind at ease.” The man nodded and smiled without committing himself. Then he turned to leave. Halfway there, he stopped. “A young woman should get home earlier from now on...” After all, the world was not as safe as it seemed.

After giving her that strange warning, the man strode away coldly. Xia Hanning discreetly glanced back at him, her pupils contracting in an instant.

In the darkness, the man walked at an unhurried pace. A small flame burned quietly on one of his outstretched fingers...

Her look of astonishment slowly faded. Since pocket dimensions existed in the world, perhaps it wasn't so strange for someone with the power to control fire to exist as well?

P.S. This is a companion novel to Bai Hua. Its world includes many people with pocket dimensions, supernatural abilities, and evil cultivation techniques, though its focus differs from Bai Hua.

Also, the male and female leads make appearances in Bai Hua! Hehe, if you like it, come check this one out!
